It all begins with an idea.
As long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with the interplay between humans, wildlife, our environment, and the impact we have as we occupy and inhabit these shared spaces.
Growing up in the United Kingdom, I spent a great deal of time exploring remote wilderness and the mountains of Scotland and the Lake District. As a young child, I developed a deep, early appreciation for nature. I felt an awe and an affinity for wild places - and a passionate drive to discover, celebrate, and protect them - that has guided me throughout life.
Whether ultra-running, mountain biking, mountaineering or as a waterman, I am an outdoors-man at heart. I now reside in Colorado, USA, with my beautiful wife and joyous nature-loving son. In the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, there are continual sources of inspiration, fueling both my love for our natural world and concern for it.
It is my hope that through art we can awaken and nourish our passions as individuals while building awareness, enhancing both appreciation of and stewardship for our surroundings. Through sharing of images, we may ignite the boldness to go out and explore. By daring to discover, we find personal and collective renewal. Live to your fullest potential--go out and connect with a world that will otherwise remain unseen.
